Frequently asked questions
Company data agents can use. Humans can verify.
Where does the data come from?
A resolved company object carries record-level source metadata: registry,
official source URL and source.checked_at. The current public API
does not claim per-field freshness bounds.
Which registries do you cover?
Check the published coverage below before assuming depth. The public resolver
reports resolved, ambiguous, jurisdiction_required or source_check_required;
it does not manufacture a capability result.
source_check_required. Neither response invents
company fields or starts a paid action.What does it cost?
GET /api/v1/resolve is free and public. Expanded profiles,
refreshes and document retrieval use the published rate card after capability
is confirmed. Paid actions show the total before they run. See pricing →
What if a company isn't covered yet?
The current resolver returns jurisdiction_required when it needs a
national register selection and source_check_required after a
source-specific miss. The public API does not create asynchronous jobs or charge
for a request; expanded fulfilment begins only after confirmation.
How fresh is the data?
The public company object returns record-level source.checked_at and record.updated_at. There is no public monitoring endpoint yet;
monitoring demand is requested from the selected company page.
Why does this exist?
Doctrine, machine-readable: company facts are sourced or absent, and the same D1-backed identity, match state and provenance are available over REST and MCP. Paid tools are not part of the public slice.
Can AI tools use this?
The public read-only MCP endpoint is https://getcompanydocs-site.azize-seyt.workers.dev/api/mcp. It exposes resolve_company and get_company without a key.
